MOTOROLA HT1250 UHF 403MHZ - 470MHZ
Selling my spare Motorola HT1250 UHF.

£230.00 plus £4.19 Royal Mail Tracked 24. Its in pristine condition and fully working. I buy all my Motorola radios from a dealer in USA so I have had to pay import chargers on top shipping!

Comes with battery (battery is charged and works well but not known on duration), belt clip, stubby antenna, dust cover, fist/external mic and desktop charger (please note that you will need a plug for the charger)

This has been programmed for HAM/Amateur Radio use and few other frequencies for RX only. Please note that some of the frequencies are RX only and down to the user if you wish to TX on them.

If you're able to program yourself (make sure your CPS is open to FD region or all regions)
There are plenty of videos online showing how to program these radios.

Getting this model in this amazing condition with this programming code plug is rare in UK!!

This radio looks new and I'm reluctant to sell but its just not needed.

Ameritron ALS-500M HF Amplifier
For Sale: Ameritron ALS-500M all HF linear amplifier. It's the old version, circa 1995 and fitted with 4 x genuine Toshiba 2sc2879 transistors. It's also fitted with the optional 10-12m extension board and it's been modified to remove the old Jones plug, in favour of large binding posts. It comes complete with heavy duty cables - you should probably add your own fuses (80-100A in each cable perhaps). It can be remotely switched by using the Remote RCA jack. It needs to be keyed to ground using the PTT jack to switch to TX. Thermal overload and load fault protection built in and cooling is from an internal fan which only starts when warm.
It's hardly ever been used and it's from a non-smoking home. I'm seeing 500W CW from about 60W using a decent PSU. In excellent fully working condition and ready to get some Winter DX. Christmas Present to yourself perhaps? Full set of pictures available on request.

For restoration. Rare National Receiver from the 1960s. Needs attention as since being in storage has developed a fault. PLL locks but sadly no signals. I am guessing it is possibly the RF amp transistor but sadly no time to troubleshoot. £300.

If things go wrong I recommend the Small Claims Court online process. It is cheap, easy and very effective. The fee is added to the claim so if the Court finds in your favour it costs nothing.
