HF transceiver SW2020

For Sale - New - not used - small, low noise Ukrainian radioamateur transceiver - SW2020 - £280 + mainland UK shipping or collect near Glasgow.

Two 10 quartz crystal filters, one optimized for SSB (Single Sideband) and another for CW (Continuous Wave) communication inside.


General Specifications:



HF frequency range: 0.2-30 MHz (LSB, USB, CW, CWR, DGU, DGL)

Output power across all bands: in light mode (LP) 15-18 watts, in high power mode (HP) 40-50 watts. Power adjustable from zero.

Sensitivity without preamp: about 0.6 µV; with preamp: 0.25 µV.

Blocking dynamic range: above 100 dB.

Carrier suppression: more than 60 dB.

First IF: 45 MHz with a 15 kHz bandwidth.

Second IF: 6 MHz with a 2.7 kHz bandwidth for SSB and 0.5 kHz for CW (bandwidth switchable in any mode).

Built-in cw key with programmable settings.

Control for enabling/disabling RF during receive-transmit switching.

Tuning mode and control for an external amplifier.

Idle current consumption in receive mode at 13.5V: 200 mA.

Current consumption during transmission on HF: 3-4 amps in light mode (LP), 10-12 amps in full mode (HP).



The radio has CAT interface (usb), very nice modulation, advanced low-pass filters, ultra low internal noise and live ether sound.

Rotator and Antenna
Spid Rak rotator and Rotprog1 controller. Good working order. I used to use it portable but these last 2 years it's been outside. £250 collected from Spilsby Lincolnshire.
Vortex 10/11m 3 element yagi. Solidly built a few years old but very serviceable. Staff clamps, stainless hardware. I worked 160 dxcc in just 2 months with it using mixed modes.
Just £100 collected as above. Packs down to about 6 feet.

Paypal gift payments sometimes called "Friends and Family" should be avoided by buyers as you have very few rights for payments made in this way. Also such payments will be outwith Paypal's terms of service for the seller.
If things go wrong I recommend the Small Claims Court online process. It is cheap, easy and very effective. The fee is added to the claim so if the Court finds in your favour it costs nothing.
