The SteppIR 2 element Yagi antenna is designed for amateur radio and industry. It has THE TOP OF THE RANGE microprocessor-based controller the new OptimizIR SDA 2000 that allows you to control the antennas performance to your requirements.
This setup would set you back around $4,311.50 before shipping and the spare elements etc,
The boom is built with the coax (rg213 x 20 metres ) and 20 mtrs of 12 core control cable fitted.
There are 2 sets of elements, A used set and a brand new set and they are boxed,(for longevity) shipped from the USA just last year,
A set of new brushes for the stepper motors, for the future should you need them,
The SD 2000 OptimizIR controller and power supply were purchase after the antenna and shipped direct from the USA.
There is a small scratch on the top due to me catching it with the wall plug. Nout bad just putting it out there.
I have all the paperwork and instructions, but putting it together is the same as using a telescopic fishing pole but it cost a shite load more money.
It has worked perfectly and the only reason it’s going is i am no longer planning on doing the portable ops days for now. Due to issues here and I’m knocking on a bit and my health is not the best.
In its disassembled state it will fit in most cars with the seats down or a small van, or on your roof bars, there are a few photos of it on my qrz page so have a look,
From this state On my own it takes me around 40 minutes to assemble it and be on the air. It has the control cable for Icom radios so will track the frequency in 5 kilohertz steps or larger for faster scanning or just switch bands and away you go, the SD2000 really makes this easy with directional, bidirectional and full 180 Deg option at the press of a switch its simply great to use.
I will miss having it but i will be happy to see it get used rather than sat here in a loft space. I have all the boxes but it will not be shipped as the boom will NOT fit back in the box with the motors fitted,

please remember the size of this antenna before you buy it its not a small thing as there are no returns, All my equipment is looked after and will leave here in full working condition as i would expect it to be if i was having it from you.
