I was charged doing 99 average in a 60mph zone and then the report shows 42 in a 30mph zone I have admitted I was in wrong but I have been resentd with dangerous driving.Road was dry vision was clear and traffic very quiet, please advise what I should do and what the prosecution may be. I drive for a living and have no current points on licence.
  2. i was involved in an accident on april 19th in which a 6yr old boy ran out in front of me,i could not stop in time and went over him. today i rec'd a summons i think it is a pleading diet i think thats what he said it was called. what do i do? will i go to jail or lose my licence or what might happen, i am worried sick. the little boy is now ok he did suffer injuries in the accident including a head injury but his dad says the hospital say it is all ok now. thanks in advance for any advice or info you can give me

    Hi Neil, I do not understand why you have been charged with cdangerous driving if the charge was 42 in a 30mph. I would need to know more about the exact location. Unfortunately the court will consider disqualification in any case of dangerous driving therefore you really should consult with a specialist lawyer as soon as possible.

    First of all you do not advise me of the charge on the copy complaint. I have to know this before I can comment on the appropriate penalty. Is the charge one of careless driving? Are there any other charges? If you wish to dispute the charge against you, you must plead not guilty. When does the case call in court and in which court?
