    On the grounds of cruelty, desertion for two years or if the husband marries another woman; change of religion or the husband contracts incurable form of leprocy or V.D.'S or having sexual intercourse with another woman etc.

    The govt servant will lose his job and can even get jail sentence, if either of the two wife goes to court, bigamy is not allowed in India except under Muslim Personal Law
