Fellows,
I know money is always an issue in any league adult or youth. I have recieved an e-mail from a friend in S.C. who belongs to a fire dept hockey league and to raise money they have made T-Shirts with sponsers on the back of each shirt (silk-screen) to sell for $12.00 to $15.00 each depending on size.
I thought this would be a good way to raise money if we thought the interest internally was there. Maybe we have some connections with in the league to have shirts made up at a reasonable cost or a player might know some one. This would not just be a fund raiser but also a way to advertise. It took me an entire year to get involved in hockey when I move here, I just didn't know the area or where anything was.
I have pictures if anyone is interest as an idea. We would need a logo and some sponsers. I would mind HELPING with this project.
One last thing, my surgery went well and I will start rehab in two weeks. I am hoping from some information I am getting I might be back near the end of the fall season.
