We have looked into it. I have talked with people at both the fed/state level. We can become federal exempt easy enough, but state sales tax is what hurts. Becoming State exempt is not very easy at all. The chances are not very high at all, and we get one shot. The present and past BOD has talked about this several times. This is the same problem every adult rec sports leagues have. I have also talked with several adult league directors and USA Hockey and they say the same thing. I agree. But easier said than done. |
