Well, the Dojo has finally opened and we finally have a permanent place that we can call home. It has taken a lot of time, a lot of effort and a lot of money and although it still isn't 100% finished (and won't be for a while), it is looking good.
Firstly a massive thanks to my Dad and Paul, without whom, this wouldn't have happened. My Dad and Paul have put in countless hours, some of them until late in the evening and even the weekend. My Dad has done a cracking job on the building and Paul on the decorating etc. I can't say thanks enough.
Next, a big thank you to Steve Buckley, Jerry Slater and Mark Woodacre. Steve has been a big help on the changing rooms and plaster-boarding, Jerry for helping with the floor and cleaning etc. and Mark for helping with the changing rooms and floor. All this extra assistance has really helped us get this done quicker.
I would also like to say a separate thanks to Amy for helping with cash and putting up with my absence this past month. Also, thanks to everyone at the club for your patience since Christmas, training at the different venues and so on.
Thanks again to everyone involved, however small. Your support is appreciated. There's still a bit to do so your ongoing support is needed, but the worst of it is over and we are finally there.
