Roberts - Prevatte - Johnson of Horry Co., SC
I am looking for the above surnames in Horry Co.,SC. I have hit a brick wall and was hoping someone out there can help. I am looking for parents of William Kenneth Roberts b.24 July 1870 SC,d.25 Aug 1939 SC. William mar. Ruetilla Amanda Johnson (Floyd) b.25 Oct 1865 d. 24 Dec 1967 SC. Both are buried in Aynor Cemetery, Aynor,Horry,SC. 1880 Horry Co.census lists Williams parents as William A Roberts and Margaret J. ?. and siblings as James, Samuel W.,and Mary A. Roberts. I can find nothing past this census. Also need info on Ruetilla Johnson. I have found her on the Horry Co., census,age 4,listed with Avey Johns(t)on and sister Julia. Avey is also listed on the 1900 Horry census with Ruetilla and William and listed as "aunt" to HH. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
