Goodman/Crawford
Looking for evidence of life of Rainey N. Crawford and George Goodman. Rainey was from Lewisville, Chester SC. She appears on the 1870 and 1880 census. I am descended from her and George Goodman. But, I cannot find either of them on any census. The children were born from 1880-1890. Tom, Mary, Lelia and Maggie Goodman. All the children but Maggie ended up in Rowan County NC. Of course my parents remember 2 of the kids, and we know who their parents were. Can anyone local find a source, a tax list, anything to show the Goodman family living in SC? Thanks
