Haile/Stokes in Kershaw/Richland Co
Hello, I'm searching for the parents of a Daphnie Haile B.3/10/1886 D.1/17/1963 who wed Thomas W. Jackson (1879-1959) on 3/15/1901. They had three boys; Leslie, Bertie & Ralph. I can only find her in 1930 Kershaw Co census, within the household is an uncle, Wildon Stokes (B.abt 1876) which I believe to be her mother's brother. Also, I'm quite sure her father was born in NC. She lived in the Gonzales Gardens Apts in Columbia upon death; She & Thomas are buried at Old Fox Hill Cemetery in Lugoff, Kershaw Co. I have been searching for many yrs now & believe she Must have used another name other than Daphnie & of course, her surname can be spelled a variety of ways; maybe even Hales. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide, your help, no matter how small is greatly appreciated. -Anita
