Victoria Music Hall Artiste Black Cookey (Henry J Cook)
I am looking for information of my Great Grandfather,stage name Black Cookey,'Character, Negro, Comedian, Bone Soloist, Musician and Champion Stilt and Spade Dancer'. He was often know to put Marie Lloyd into a horse drawn cab after a concert when she had had too much to drink! I have a couple of old posters but nothing more. Can anyone help?
