New Orleans - who's going???
We need to start making some definite plans for the New Orleans match, Mar 1st. I think we need make hotel reservations somewhere in the French Quarter pretty quick??? Anybody know of a good place to stay there? If this list is wrong, could you please let me know ASAP? I was looking at hotels. We could stay in the garden district, about 2 miles from the french quarter, for about $50-60 per room. -Caleb |

Brad's doubts he can make it. He and Jon have a hugh test next Monday. We'll need to someone to rent/drive the van. Anybody want this chore? Nate's out for a while with a pinched nerve. Andrew and Doug may leave Thursday night and stay with his brother-in-law. Gleada and I are leaving around noon Friday. Mark may drive and stay with some friends. Isaiah is from New Orleans. I believe I've talked Chris into picking up the van. I've a heard a rumor that Dan Jones and Jim Miners may go. Andrew and Doug may leave Thursday night and stay with his brother-in-law. Mark may drive and stay with some friends. Isaiah is from New Orleans. Glenda and I are leaving around 9am Friday. FYI: We have a room booked at the Holiday Inn Express in the French Quarter. $99 Friday night. $159 Saturday night. Kris Bylow and Lauren are leaving after his classes on Friday. I think they planning on staying at the Holiday Inn Express, also. Caleb's looked at hotels in the Garden District. I think they were $50-60 per night. From looking at a map, looks like you guys need to drive to Brookhaven , MS and spend the night. It's 2 hours from NO??? It's up to you guys but I think some reservations need to made pretty quick??? Chris is going to reserve 3 rooms ( 4 to a room) in the Garden District. Caleb, could you please let him know what you had found out? I think Caleb said they were $50-60 a night. Cab to the French Quarter is $15-20. The Trolley does not run all the way, yet?? Chris will also get 3 rooms somewhere on the other side of Jackson. I think Brookhaven might be about right. I had penciled the van leaving at 6 pm. Just like Mobile. The match is at 1 pm, Saturday. There all several games there. The pitch is at: Gretna Blvd & Huey P Long Ave Gretna, LA 70053 Glenda and I are leaving at 9am Friday. We staying at the Holiday Inn Express in the French Quarter. Kris Bylow and Lauren are staying there also. They are leaving after Kris gets out to class, Friday. Andrew and Doug plus there wives are leaving around 10am Friday. They're staying with Andrew's brother-in-law. Justin might not be able to make the trip. He's in Tulsa. I'll try to talked to Big Bob and Brian, to find out their status. Looks like we're 1 short if the maybes can't make it. Hopefully, I forgotten someone. Mark and Meagan are leaving late Friday. Should get to his friend's house in NO around 4am. Brad Hyman is going as a water boy/touch judge, whichever is easier on his knee. The vanners need to decide how are you want to travel Friday night, so Chris can get some reservations. Zach and Micheal are going! That puts us at 15. Brad Hyman will be there for moral support. Zach and his wife are leaving early, around 6 am. Glenda and I are leaving around 9am. Andrew, Doug and their wives leave around 10am. Isiah's leaving around noon. Kris and Lauren are leaving after he gets out of class. The van leaves from Daisy Bates around 6pm. Mark and Meagen are leaving around 8pm. Zach, Kris and I have rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in the French Quarter. 221 Carlondelet. It's one the calendar. Chris has 3 rooms reserved in Jackson for Friday night. 3 rooms in the Garden District for Saturday. Mark is staying with a friend. Andrew with his brother-in-law. You can get a map to the pitch, using the calendar event for the match. Click the event, then more details, then "map" A Google map should be displayed.
