a good week to bring out recruits
This would be a real good week to bring out some recruits. Get them to come to practice so they won't be quite so lost when they play Saturday. We're probably going to be rather lax on the substitution. Hopefully, we can let them play, get confused, then bring them out for a bit of teaching, then let them go back in??? They'll get a taste of 15's between the Harding and Shreveport matches. Then play 7's this summer where they'll learning a lot about running/passing and less about rucking and mauling. I think this is what gets new guys confused. I think we have two new players coming out this week. So, get your recruits out this week. |

We'll select the sides ( divide up the players ) around 1 pm. We'll take about 20 minutes, so we can go over the tackle law / breakdown area and scrum. We'll try to start around 2pm. |
