Shreveport
We need to know who is going to Shreveport to see if we need to rent a van. Please communicate with us. You are either going or not. If you are not going don't make us guess, email me or Bill Cisne. |

Good luck and have fun, fellas! It's a great trip, and I wish I could make it down. I hope to be back out to 7s training in a few weeks. My ankle is still pretty sore, so I'll be out as soon as it's up to the task. Cheers! Mikey Mike |

We will be traveling to Shreveport this Saturday to play the last match of the spring season. The match is scheduled for 2:00pm. We will be meeting in the commuter parking lot at the intersection of I-630 and I-430. It is actually on Shackle ford across the street from the Financial One Center building. We will meet at 8:00am, Shreveport is a little over a 4 hour drive. We have a rented van and 2 other vans to travel in. Shreveport is coming off of two heartbreaking losses in the Western Championships last weekend so they will be ready to play. It is their “Holiday in Dixie” festival so they will treat us great with plenty of drinks and crawfish. It will be a ton of fun. They have shower and whirlpool facilities. Let us know if you are traveling on your own so we don’t wait on you. Directions: Take I-30 west to Hope, AR Take highway 29 south in Hope (there will be a bypass around Hope) Stay on 29 south to Louisiana where it becomes LA highway 3 Stay on highway 3 south all the way to Shreveport In Shreveport take I-20 west (note: go all the way to Shreveport, don’t be fooled by the I-220 loop) Take the Market St. (highway 1) & Youree Dr. exit south (appr. 2 miles after you get on I-20 west) Stay on Youree Dr. and the pitch is about 5 miles down on your left. It should be just past E. Kings highway. The park is called A.C. Steere Park. |

Ty, You will be making the trip as a Mudbug eater, you do not care about the rugby. It is only a guise to be able to hoover the bugs. I wish I could get me a few flats of the bugs.

For various reasons, I think we're down to 12 players going and a couple of those are iffy. So, if you bored tomorrow, we could sure use some more players. We're meeting at 8 am. Match is at 2 pm. I'll probably come back right after the match, so we should be back by 8 or 9. thanks |
