LANCASTER - The Valley's largest job fair will bring together job seekers and employers 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, as Antelope Valley College presents its 12th annual Fall Career Information and Job Fair at the campus' Fine Arts Quad, 3041 West Ave. K.
The Fine Arts Quad is on the southwest corner of the campus, adjacent to parking lot 3.

The college's Job Placement Center is sponsoring the event, which last fall attracted more than 1,000 job seekers and more than 80 employers.

Employers represent a diverse range of professions including law enforcement, child care, clerical, customer service, education, health care, aerospace, retail and military.

Among the more than 70 employers slated to attend this year's event are: 24-Hour Fitness, A & A Unlimited, Aerotek, Aflac, Albertsons, Antelope Valley Hospital, Antelope Valley Medical College, Antelope Valley Regional Occupational Programs, Assistance League Preschool, AV Schools Transportation Agency and Burlington Coat Factory.

Additional employers include the California Department of Corrections, California Highway Patrol, California National Guard, Career Planning Center/Jewish Vocational Service, City of Palmdale, Costco, Countrywide Financial Corporation, Crunch Time Consultant Services, California State University, Bakersfield, DESI/Job Corps, Dillard's, Denny's, Domino's Pizza, Edwards Air Force Base Civilian Personnel, El Segundo Police Department, Exotic Feline Breeding Compound, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Grand Canyon University, Hot Topic, JCPenney, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, and Just Rite Community Programs.

Also scheduled to appear are representatives of Kern County Probation Department, Kohl's, Los Angeles County Office of Education, Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles Airport Police, Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Los Angeles County Fire Department, High Desert Health Systems, Los Angeles County Police, Mary Kay, MedResponse Ambulance, Mountain High Resort, Northeast Valley Health Corporation, Old Navy, Primerica Financial, Select Personnel, Sexual Assault Response Service, South Valley WorkSource, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, The McGill Agency, Togo's, Baskin-Robbins, Torres-Martinez Tribal TANF, University of Phoenix, Valley Oasis, Visalus Sciences, Vons, Washington Mutual, WaterWise Consulting, Wendy's and Work Training Programs.
