PALMDALE - Forty thousand square feet of tents, 10,000 square feet of display booths, 6,000 chairs and 200 tables as well as a fairy garden, a wizard's workshop and a dragon's lair are going up at Marie Kerr Park for the 22nd annual Palmdale Fall Festival.
Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to attend the festival, which offers entertainment on eight stages, foods from around the world, a fine-arts pavilion, arts-and-crafts vendors, a farmers market and the cornerstone Enchanted Fairy Garden. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the park, 2723 West Rancho Vista Blvd. (Avenue P).
Tickets are $7 for visitors ages 13 to 61, and $3 for seniors 62 and over, children 6 to 12 and active-duty military personnel with identification. Children age 5 and under are admitted free. Children receive four free ride tickets with gate admission.
