I was born on Itazuke AFB on Aug. 12, 1949 to MSGT Robert and Daisy Simmonds. The actress, Victoria Principal's parents were also there at that time and were friends of my parents, and she was born there just after I was (they were in the maternity ward together), although she publicly lists here birth as Jan.3,1950.

I think I may have been the first American baby born in Japan after the war, but have no proof. Was anyone there at that time? Both of my parents are dead and i would love to hear more about my birthplace.
