Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Phil tweeted about an hour ago that he's home, so assuming they flew home together, Lee should be home (or nearly there) by now.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thanks Another Liz I just wanted to be sure he is home for thursday!!!!!

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Don't worry Acer!

Denise has tweeted that Lee made it home a few hours ago

Denise Van Outen: 'Hubby just returned from his concert tour in Japan. Nice to have him home. Betsy so excited!'

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

With kind permission from the writer, I am allowed to link this to here for everyone to see.

This above address is a link to a review from Lee's last concert. I have lost my link formula so perhaps someone would link this for me

I'll post the translation separately. I have linked the original because of the photos.

Many thanks to @santasato on Twitter.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

The translation is as follows (you'll have to allow for Google's translation changes).

Tokyo Opera City Christmas Adagio conductor Tomomi Nishimura

Conductor Tomomi Nishimura's world-famous, went to the concert of the orchestra.
This program combines classical musical masterpieces.
The musical's songs first challenge is likely Nishimura.

Was almost fully booked. It seems to be little more mercenary Nishimura.
Nishimura, handsome man with woman. Popular in Japan is considerable.
Therefore, this concert, the ticket sales are so good Nishimura effect.

In value is a mercenary of Watakushi, Rimido British talent for this concert came. Stars were chosen by public vote shows like the musical A Star Is Born in the UK some years ago. No singing talent complains, spinning hair also looks cutie. I have seen about twice in London.

The first performances "The Phantom of the Opera"
Phantom of the Opera story is that too much ... people (← Atashi) What is the gate and get a thrill listening to this song live. Natural wood interior hall. High ceilings. Sounds good, right behind the seats to the sound of small sounds.

Nishimura, commander of the interference in the tails. Wow Really cool. If production is also stiff, light changes or the singing of Christmas songs and was a star or sparkling.

Rimido emerged from the wings. Music of the night, the empty chairs and tables (Remize), Love changes everything (Aspects of Love, Why got Why (Miss Saigon) in such musicals fans sang the familiar songs. I had the subtitles on both sides, I found making any listening with lyrics (laughs).
Lee has a deep voice with a stretch. There is also volume of voice. Amazing! However, drunk in the middle of a powerful orchestra, I was also a part that has drowned out the voices. And I did not feel much chemistry after starring Isojun. Mr. Sojun, Kim (Miss Saigon) is not too 色Ppo. (Laughs) But in the winter wonderland of the last two singing dancing lightly, let me be quite pleasant feeling. Scene or have been mischievous clown, while also conducting Nishimura.

2 hours into the break. Concert was shorter than I thought, and feeling happy to be out by Christmas Silent Night of Angkor. Lee had what emotion (?) Forgot to sing, even scenes that I Sojun Settsuka (laughs) me hard to sing in Japanese.

After the concert's signing bonus with the Rimido Isojun.
Moraima****a to be photographed. Lee is a video diary blog Imashi raise interesting stay in Japan, and tell them that you are watching a video, "Mon ~ I saw Santa Claus" was laughing and Innovation box.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

The stars are only blocking part of a name...the ending is something that is considered unacceptable language on here.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thanks, Jazzylou! I enjoyed it in Japanese Ask me any questions you may have.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thanks, Jazzy, nice review.

Aya, can you do a translation? Some parts are not too clear. Did she not like Sojung?

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Following is the easier summery I think:)

I went to an orchestra concert by Conductor Tomomi Nishimura who is famous around the world. I hear it's the first challenge for her to conduct musical theatre music. The theatre was almost filled to capacity. I think most of the audience wanted to see her because she's a cool woman and very popular in Japan. That's why the tickets had been sold well. My purpose was to see Lee Mead, who is a British star and now in Japan to have these concerts. He sings very well and cute with curly hair. I have seen him in London twice.
The first performance is "The Phantom of the Opera".
I don't like the story of Phantom of the Opera so much, but I was so excited to listen to the music LIVE as the wall of the venue is made of natural wood, it has a high ceiling and music penetrates.
Ms Nishimura wore a tail coat, so cool! It was a well calculated staging, for example scintillating stars with spotlights.
Lee mead appeared from the left side of the stage. He sang MOTH, ECET, LCE and WGW which were popular songs for musical theatre fans. I understood the songs with subtitles. His voice is deep, strong and magnificent! But the orchestra was so powerful that I sometimes couldn't his voice, and I didn't feel Lee and Sojung had good chemistry (get on well) very much because she was too sexy to play Kim. LOL
But as they sang Winter Wonderland with dancing lightly together and Ms Nishimura sometimes joined, that made me happy.
The concert for two hours including intermission was shorter than I thought, but in Silent Night I felt Christmassy! Lee sang it in Japanese as well as he can though he forgot singing at first as he was so moved(?) and Sojung urged him. LOL
After the concert, they had signed autograph session and I took a picture with him.
I told Lee that I watched his video blogs, then Lee said he saw Santa Claus and recalled him and smiled over it. So innocent!
He said to come back to Japan again when he was leaving.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thank you Aya.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thanks, Aya! That's much clearer. Funny that this fan thought Lee & Sojung didn't have chemistry when others thought they had too much chemistry! LOL

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thank you Aya, that's really interesting and so much clearer to read. The concert hall sounds very good. Sweet comments about Lee. I'd love to have seen them dancing to WW!

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thank you, Aya! Much clearer now!

The snowball fight sounds so cute.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thankyou for taking the time to translate for us
Aya, very much appreciated.

I notice in some of the reports it says, in red,
check this blog out, is it possible for you to translate these as well or are they just a repeat of
those you have already done.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Christmas and
New Year.

Love maggiemay X

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

Thank you very much for the translation Aya.

Re: Christmas Adagio tour news

MY PLEASURE

Punkinpuss, the snowball fight was in an instant...so I didn't get it.
Maggiemay, unfortunately the blog (in red, check this blog out) doesn't say so much information about Lee. Just one thing when they were eating crabs.
It says:
Lee Mead was impressive for me. He is playful on the stage, but he works hard and is honest, so he was loved and looked upon warmly by everyone. LOL

Happy Christmas xx

Thankyou Aya
