Lee's involvment with 'All you need is love' and all this anniversary talk of The Beatles at the moment got me thinking-

Which Beatles song would you absolutely love to hear Lee cover?

I could talk all day on this but a good one for me would be Hey Jude or Day in the life. I think Hey Jude would be quite special

So many to choose from but would love to see and hear Lee sing 'Love me do' strumming his guitar yay!

That was my second choice Brenda.
I tend to prefer the earlier stuff when they were still having fun, not so keen on the later stuff. I know most people will disagree with me but 'Hey Jude' really annoys me.

I love the way Paul sings 'Till There was You' but that can't really be classed as a Beatles song can it?

Oh Marg, I absolutely adore "Till There Was You" - I'm sure you can count it!!! He was so young and vulnerable sounding on it, wasn't he. BTW next Thursday's holiday is agreed at last. Just a couple more hurdles!!!

I have my favorite Beatles songs, with Hey Jude topping the list, but they are not the ones I think I'd like Lee to do.

He'd really show emotion singing Yesterday.

But I think my top 3 choices for Lee would be Mother Nature's Son, Here, There & Everywhere
and For No One. Oh, he'd sound so dreamy singing those!

CL, I think 'A Taste of Honey' comes in the same category as 'Till their was You'. The beatles recorded the song but it wasn't one of their compositions. But, as they recorded the songs, I think we can still include them as Beatles' songs, don't you?

I am not much of a Beatles fan, but I do like 'And I Love Her' Lee would do quite well with it.
