Saw Daniel Buoys this morning (Mon) on one of our daytime programmes (kerri-ann)which broadcasts from Sydney. He was promoting a couple of concerts he has in Sydney and Adelaide, he sang a John Denver song, but was a little disappointed they did not interview him afterwards.I must admit it was a surprise, but a lovely surprise to see him on our turf.Maybe one day Mr Mead will come to Oz.!!!

I love the Kerri- Ann programme, she's a great character. She is the Aussie version of Lorraine on our morning telly. It's wonderful that Daniel is doing so well.
We went to the Australian Bush Fire Charity Concert at The Palace theatre a couple of years ago and we were lucky enough to chat to Lee as he was going in. I told him I had a son living in Sydney and he asked if the bush fires had got that far. I told him the outskirts were affected and it was very bad in the Blue Mountains area.
He said he was very pleased to be able to help in some way by being part of the concert.
He then said "Your son is very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. I've never been but I would love to visit one day"
So..... you never know

i live in Perth WA, so we tend to be isolated over here, and many artist will not come over to perth,but it has got better over the past couple of years, but i would definately fly over to sydney or melbourne even though it is a good 4hr-45mins to 5 hour flight to these places to see Lee in concert.
I love Sydney, been there quite a bit, it seems like another world away, compared to Perth.
Melbourne seems to be the musical theatre place, Andrew lloyd webber was over a couple of weeks ago,to oversee "Love Never Dies" with the lead male role going to a WA fella, who attended WAPA here in Perth.
