Jessica Autry

A Newborn Track Star

Jessica Loreen Autry is a track star to many People. Kids and adults!!! Jessica is in the fifth grade and goes to Guin Foss Elementery School. She became a fan to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Tustin when Earnest, the boss of the place, told everyone at a club meeting they have every Monday and Friday. They called her thier celebraty. This made Jessica very popular to the Boy's and Girl's Club.Autry a lso plays soccer as a sweeper, the most complicated defensive position on the field. Her coaches,Tony Dufresne and Eric Finn put her in that position because Jessica was a fast thinker and knows what to do when she was playing one on two against the other team on break aways.Jessica can catch break aways,a running player going for the goal, from more than ten feet away from her. They call her the after burner. Jessica is very fast, allthough only runs on natural ability. She has been running for two years. She says she feels sorry for her apponents because they worked so hard to get fast and come out to this meet and get smoked by her, no training at all,but still runs her fastest to get a good time and to qualify for the next track meet. Jessica now has nine gold medals and four silver. In August she is going to Connecticut to run in the state games of the Country. All of her friends are very happy for her. Autry's mother,Judy Haskell, is trieng to get her a track trainer before her last track meet and has succeded. Judy,Jessica's mother tells her that she is going to become the next Marian Jones when she grows-up. Jessica Loreen Autry has a dream that she will.
