Welcome To Our Poet Of The Year Competition

Our Poet Of The Year competition is design to highlight the best poets on our site from the previous year. This competition is an annual event held each year in January and February. The poets nominated for this competition are writers who have been featured on our site and who have won our Poet Of The Month award during the previous year.

The winners in our competition are chosen in a general vote by the readers of our site. At the end of our competition the top three poets are awarded prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and their poetry is published in a unique anthology.

• All poets who recieved our Poet Of The Month award during the year 2005 are nominated for this competion.
• All nominated poets are listed below. Please review this list before voting.
• Click the button beside each name to visit their Poets Page and read their poetry.
• Once you have chosen your favorite poet, return to this page to cast your vote.
• The voting period will be open January 28th - February 28th.
• Visitors to our website may vote once each day during the voting period.
• At the end of the voting period all votes will be tallied and the winners announced.
