Hi, I have a 6 and a half year old daughter who's a very good little player, as good as any boy her age and better than most, and red hot keen, and i'm looking for a club for her to join.
She's been going to the WWFC sessions at Hamilton School on Saturday mornings and i asked Martin (who runs it) if he could recommend a team, and he pointed me in your direction.

Thing is, i can't find any mention of an Under-8s (or would it be Under-7s?) team on the site. Do you have such a team? Do they play competitive footy at that age any more? (The missus says she heard something about them stopping it for that age-group)

Would appreciate any light anyone could shed on these matters.

We are going to start a new team for younger players and have a qualified coach who will probably start training by the end of Aug. As we have missed the deeadline for the start of the season, the intention is to start playing mini games in the new year.

Any interested player, boy or girl, under the age of 10 should contact me by email stating your name, date of birth and contact details.

Training for children of all abilities under the age of 11 will take place every Sunday at 10.30 am on the Rye by the Swimming Pool starting from 14/08/08
