The fence is still there and the school is much as it was. I have noticed in Govan that they seem to take ages to knock down derelict buildings. Harhill Baths took a few years. Once they start it does not take long.
Good memories of Greenfield School. It was used for the swimming lessons at Govan High. Very shallow at one end and even the deep end was not very deep. The changing rooms out the back were known as the 'freezers' in winter. Totally unheated and we entered the pool to the sound of 'chattering teeth'. The Greenfield Club was good also where we done some woodwork followed by the swimming. I remember making a wooden boat which I took down to Elder Park pond. It was rubbish really but I had fun with it.
St.Constantine's across the road is no longer a school from what I understand. It has curtains etc. at the windows so perhaps it is now a hostel or the likes.
