Just for the record David, as you are writing a book there was another cycle shop on Govan Road it was past the Plaza on the corner of a little dead end street I think it was Napier Street. It was called Robertson Cycles it catered to the cycle road racing fraternity,as I did a bit of racing back then, I had a custom built frame made there.Best of luck with your book David my father wrote a fiction novel about life in Govan and the Shipyards I know the struggles he had to get a publisher,it is now long out of print.
