For those who weren't able to make last night's club meeting here's a quick readout of the main discussion items.

• Giro d’Italia update
o Last month we indicated in principle our interest in supporting Giro d’Italia. Belfast City Council have yet to confirm exactly what locations they want us to exhibit at and what cars they want on display.
o Members expressed some concern at the likely time commitment over the 3 days from 8th - 10th May and the fact that there is no guarantee that all those in attendance would be respectful of the cars and their owners pride in them.
o Members agreed that we would seek further clarity from the Council and make a final decision regarding our involvement with Giro d' Italia at next month's meeting.

• Ultimate Car Show, Caterpillar NI site in Larne on Sunday 30th March.
o Members agreed that there was sufficient interest in combining a club run down the coast with a trip to this show.
o If so we would meet at Carrickfergus Castle and drive in convoy to the event. No need to formally book places at the show - we can call in to the show and pay on the day as we have done in previous years.

• AOVC car show – end April
o Due to circumstances beyond AOVC’s control the display at Sprucefield on Sunday 27th April has had to be changed.
o New details - Saturday 26th April @ Warren Park, Lisburn, opposite Lagan Valley Hospital on Hillsborough Road.
o The organisers are still keen that we have a club display at this event.
o Members agreed that we should make an effort to have a good club presence - ideal opportunity to circulate with flyers and promote our annual show the following month.

• Membership renewal
o For those who paid in January and February membership packs and cards are now printed and available for collection.
o We will send an e-mail to all of last year's members encouraging them to re-join. Once again membership renewal entitles the member to an entry into the prize draw at the end of the year for a TAG Heuer watch, donated courtesy of Shannon's jewellers.

• NIIMC Annual Show – All Ireland Italian Motor Event 2014
o flyers for the show have now been produced. All members to take flyers and distribute them - big push to start promoting our annual show at every opportunity
o website will be updated and a further newsletter issued.

• Auto Italia trip – Saturday 3rd May 2014
o Proposal would be to fly over early on the Saturday morning and return home on the Saturday evening (option to stay overnight and return on Sunday for those who want to)
o There and back on the same day will keep costs down. Costs would be limited to flights, car hire, petrol money, entrance to event and whatever food is consumed.
o Ideally need to book soon or flight costs will increase.
o Simon will post details of the cheapest flights on the forum and those interested in going should book their own flights asap. 8 people indicated that they would like to attend this event.
