D btry 63-64 I was the first replacement for the unit from Ft Bliss. Had a great time, easy duty, no more than 2 days a week.I went back to visit a few years ago and the island is now a tourist beach C barracks and hq bldg still being used for youth camp.

Was stationed on Tokashiki from Aug. 64 to Apr. 66.
31E20 Field radio repair. Ran the radio telephone lines to Okinawa from
the hill and administration area. We were in the building with the Post Engineer by the motor pool.
Remember Upenburg, Lutz, Darling, Borscert, Roldan, Jones, Bennett.
You should see the place now. Japanese tourist trap. Golf courses, hotels the works.
