I was there from August 1971 to May 1972 as part of HHB 7th Bn 2nd Arty (OC) and we shared the camp with the C Battery guys. I was responsible for maintaining the AN/TPS-1G (Tipsy) radar located on the hill just over from the Hawk missiles and radar. Mister Powell was my Warrant Officer and IMHO the best Warrant in the whole Army. Little Namyang was a short walk outside the gate and was nothing more than 3 bars and a few hoochs :wink:
