I'm about to put a giant jungle on my wall. How do I avoid screwing it up?
I ordered a photo wallpaper in the form of tropics for the whole wall — 4 parts, glued end to end. It looks epic, but I'm terrified of making a mistake: if the first sheet goes crooked, everything will fall apart. How do you align the first part? Are there any life hacks for marking, driving out bubbles, working with wide canvases?

Totally get the nerves. I went through this exact stress when I did a full wall install a few months ago. What helped me most was dry-fitting all the panels first without glue, just taping them lightly to the wall with painter’s tape to check alignment and overlap. Then I drew a perfectly vertical pencil line using a level and made sure the first panel matched that line from top to bottom. Take your time with that one. If it's straight, the rest really does fall into place easier. Also, a soft plastic smoothing tool and a clean microfiber cloth were my best friends when pushing out bubbles without damaging the print.
When I was looking into this, I ended up going with a cheetah wallpaper from https://fancywalls.eu/wallpaper-pattern/cheetah-wallpaper/. from fancywalls.eu. Their material was easier to handle than I expected, even on a big wall. Not pushing anything, just had a good experience and thought it might help if you ever go for something simpler or want to practice on a smaller section first.

The main thing is a level line before gluing the first sheet. I pulled a thin thread from corner to corner and glued along it. Also, coat the wall, not the wallpaper, if the manufacturer says so. And don't rush, you'll have about 10 minutes to make adjustments.

I had my first experience with photo wallpaper - bright wallpaper with game characters in the nursery. I panicked: how to cut evenly, what to do about bubbles, what glues to work with? Then I found this guide in which the author explains how to hang a wallpaper mural . Everything is described there step by step: from preparing the wall and marking the panel to applying glue and joining. I printed out the instructions and glued right on it. Without it, everything would have gone wrong. If it's your first time gluing, just read it and follow it. It's a guide written not by marketers, but by masters.
