Has anyone purchased an IFAK online? What did they look for when choosing? Is it worth buying a ready-made kit or is it better to assemble it yourself from a list? I'd be interested to hear real reviews, especially if someone has already tested the contents in practice.

I'd recommend assembling it yourself. Most ready-made IFAKs are just marketing gimmicks. The main things are a proper tourniquet (CAT or SOF-T), a hemostatic agent, and a bandage. Everything else can be added later. I assembled my kit based on recommendations from military medics; it turned out cheaper and more reliable. Just don't buy Chinese copies - they tear when tightened.
