I'm researching my ggg grandfather Thomas Harley born on May 19, 1797 in Bandon Ireland. I believe he may have boarded the ship Providence in 1833 from the Port of Cork and entered Canada in Saint John Newfoundland. He eventually ended up in Georgetown, Ontario where he married Margaret Eleanor Barnes. Together they had 7 children all born in the Georgetown area. Any information on Thomas in Ireland would be appreciated. His occupation was a weaver when he left Ireland.
