Thanks to Deborah for the links and to our lovely new friend Chie for the translation, here are the songs that Lee will sing during the Christmas Adagio tour:

Programme (in Japanese)

Song list for Lee (4 solos and 1 duet):

Music of the Night (from Phantom of the Opera)

Empty Chairs at Empty Tables (from Les Miserables)

Love Changes Everything (from Aspects of Love)

Why, God, Why (from Miss Saigon)

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks punkinpuss for posting and thanks to Deborah
for the links and to Chie for translating for us.

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks Deborah, PKP and Chie! *HUGS*

Sounds like an amazing programme - I think 'Love Changes Everything' is the only song from that list that he's performed in concert here.

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks Deborah, PKP, Chie, sounds a wonderful list.
Jo- Lee sang 'Why God Why" at his Dublin concert, listened to it on Audio on Ro's Timeline.

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Oh! WOW! what a wonderful selection of songs...
Especially the duet from 'Miss Saigon'...'The Last Night Of the World' - just love that song...
Do hope Lee gets the chance to sing it over here sometime...

Thanks Deborah, PKP and Chie...

Chie - you and your fellow Japanese 'Lee fans' are in for an absolute treat...lucky ladies!

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks everyone for the info. What a fantastic programme.
Chie, not long to wait now!

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks to all the ladies concerned, that gorgeous pic of Lee will have all the Japanese Ladies swooning!!!

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks Deborah, PKP and Chie for the info. Oh, like us all, how I would love to be there in Japan . Yes, Lee sang Why God Why at Dublin (it was fantastic) and we have heard him sing Love Changes Everything on a few occasions (I have heard Lee laughingly refer to that one as 'the showing off song') , I assume because of the key changes and long note at the end, although I don't know.

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Here are some youtube clips of the songs to remind those who know them of how good they are and to introduce them to those who don't know them!

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks JO- was going to ask if anyone had any links to a couple of the songs, not heard-Empty chairs or Last night of the World songs.

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Thanks Jo - great to hear those songs again.
Saw 'Miss Saigon' in London many years ago, with Lea Salonga and Simon Bowman (as Kim and Chris)
What a show...fabulous!...
Do hope it comes back into the West End again soon...
Lee would make a wonderful Chris...

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Still rate Miss Saigon as one of my absolute favourite shows. Did see Lee in it but he wasn't the lead on that occasion sadly. ( Check early days on the timeline)
Lucky ladies of Japan, you are in for a treat!

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Chie has kindly translated the songs for Sojung Lee as well now:

I Dreamed a Dream (from Les Miz)

I'd Give My Life For You (from Miss Saigon)

The Last Night of the World (with Lee, from Miss Saigon)

Moon River (from Breakfast at Tiffany's)

Re: Christmas Adagio programme

Another selection of beautiful songs...
Thanks PKP and Chie

Oh! to be in Japan, and have the opportunity of attending one of these concerts!...
'Mind blowing' is all I can think of!!!

Lucky, lucky ladies of Japan...you won't regret buying your tickets, that's for sure...
Lee is gorgeous, and has a voice to match... Lovely CURLS! too of course!...
Enjoy!...
