Any news on how the new C.D is doing ? I have not seen any reviews in the main press so far. Wonder if they are going to use those little vidios to promote it.?
The UK charts stats are updated on Sundays (for the previous week). Midweek and daily numbers are estimated at some sites, but it looks like he's not going to chart in the top 40 - this might be more to do with the initial units ordered and then the delay plus retailers running out of stock.
As an indie production, if they didn't expect to chart in the first place, they would've been conservative about the initial manufacturing run. However, as a self-produced album, it's not as crucial for him to chart this time around. He'll make the same if not more money off of fewer sales. And this album is HIS catalogue, not Polydor's, so all future sales in months/years to come are just gravy for him.
