I see Craig is interviewed in the Sun newspaper online again today.
He says he earns more money in his new career move and gets to spend more
time with his wife, which is fair enough, but in my personal opinion
I don't think this is a very wise move for him for his future career,
apparently his talent agent management have dropped him and I should
imagine it will be difficult for him to ever move on from this career
choice in the future.
The couple of photos they have printed are not very tasteful either.
I came across The Sun online article today Maggiemay. I didn't dare click on the video links embedded in it - definitely tmi!
This is probably the most publicity Craig had had since his ADWD days and I'm sure it won't do his new career in adult entertainment any harm at all! I think you're right, however, that it will be difficult for him to move back into mainstream theatre now. He seems happy enough anyway since the hours and the pay are good. Can't see that the new career will be a long-term choice though - it seems he's already fibbing about his age since he is apparently listed as 29 on his 'talent' agency's website but I seem to remember that during ADWD he was the same age as Lee who is now 31
Oh, dear. This sounds so dire, so tacky. His wife supports this decision? Really?
Well, according to this article, Craig's wife is also in the adult entertainment business and has starred in films with him! I agree it all sounds very tacky but it seems to be their choice.
Well I'm staggered. I wonder what Bil Kenwright has to say. Craig was featured as Mr Nice Guy and appeared with his then girlfriend with matching crucifixes. Though he had done gigs with some male stripper group!
Times must be hard if he has to do porn films to pay the bills. I wonder what the other Josephs are up to?
I don't think it's that times are hard - Craig had recently done a short run in a play and had the panto lined up for Christmas. He commented in one of the articles that porn pays more than a leading role in a touring production, so I think it's a case of doing it for the money rather than because there's no other work available. He strikes me as someone who likes the 'good life' (i.e. luxury holidays, nice car, designer clothes) but struggles to pay for all the luxuries on a stage actor's wage. Therefore, I don't have much sympathy for him on that score. He could easily have carried on with his stage career, but he just seems to want money and a luxury lifestyle.
AmandaF and Acer, of the Josephs I know about, Keith is still touring as Joseph (with occasional breaks), Daniel is about to be in a touring version of the film High Society (he has the Frank Sinatra role - good for him!), Anthony is understudying Raoul in Phantom and Lewis is .... er ... hairdressing!
