Lee On Southend Radio

I'm tuned in and ready. Aah, commercial radio - adverts made on a budget of £5!

I think they should get Lee to do some radio ads, perhaps with a musical theme:-

'As Long As You're Pine...Wicked Deals At World Of Wood'
'We Will Rock You...At The Rock Emporium On The Sea Front'
'Music Of The Night...On Fridays Down On The Prom'

Ooh, Lee's getting ready!

'Forget You' - love this song! Would love for Lee to sing it!

Asking Lee questions sent in by listeners - could be dangerous...!

Starting with ADWD/Joseph.

Lee seems to thing he was in the bottom two in ADWD - I must have missed that episode!

Thinking about it, he's probably misremembering being involved in at least one 'fake' sing-off in the run-through before going on air - apparently, he was in the 'fake' 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' sing-off (Oh, how I'd love to hear him sing that! )

Casualty - Lee wanted to be a doctor, but they wouldn't give him the part, so he's a nurse!

Loving being back in Southend.

Tour discussion.

Was Stephen R-H in 'Emmerdale'?

A couple of questions from listeners.

Hoping for another 12 months in Casualty, after his initial contract ends in October.

Aah, nice interview.

Re: Lee On Southend Radio

Stephen was a doctor in Emmerdale quite a long while ago.

Is the Southend interview on listen again. I listened to
the first interview but missed the second one as I had to
go out.

Thanks maggiemay

Re: Lee On Southend Radio

You've probably already found it Maggiemay but - in case you haven't - Ro has very kindly provided the interview on Timeline:

Southend Radio Interview

Short but sweet!

On the subject of SRH in Emmerdale, I remember he told a funny story in the first West End Men shows about his experience on the show and his type-casting as 'Indian' since Bombay Dreams (he's actually half-Malaysian/half-Welsh).
