thanks SunnyMead
I love it. Well done

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

Thanks Sunnymead. I see Lee tweeted his approval too.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

It's lovely.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

My son has just booked the tickets by phone for Lee's concert at the Garrick,
I wanted the Dress Circle near the front but all he could get was
the front row of the Grand Circle as, other than a restricted view,
that was all they could offer, and the best they could offer in the Stalls
was Row X right in the corner.

I got a bit of a ticking off from my son as he kept saying to
me about booking the tickets but I stupidly said there wouldn't be
a problem being it is only the beginning of October I only see my son
once a week so I didn't want to bother him too much seeing he is paying
for them.

Anyway at least the seats are booked albeit a bit high up, but at least
there won't be anyone in front.

I suppose later on there could be some more seats available, but my
son would not book the train tickets or hotel until the theatre seats
had been booked.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

Sorry your son doesn't quite empathise with the urgency of booking good seats for Lee. My sister didn't get it at first but now she always tries to get a seat for me that's on the end of a row 'so you can see round tall people' when she makes a booking for me. I have another friend who books me lovely tickets, she reads this forum but I won't embarrass her by naming her. Just that she's a star.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

Tanith Panic, my son was the one that kept telling me to get the
tickets booked, it was my fault not booking them as I stupidly thought
that I would still be able to get seats in the Dress Circle this week.

I have just seen on Ro's Timeline page saying that ticket agents have
got some Dress Circle seats available, but previously the timeline page
advised it was best to phone rather than book online. If the theatre
website had allowed you to view the availability and choose your own seats
as you normally can then that would have been better, but at least I have
now booked. I am just happy that I will get to see Lee's concert in December.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

I see from the flyer that the Christmas concert is 'in association' with Steve Hughes. I was wondering who Steve Hughes is. I can think of two...Steve Hughes who directs Casualty and Steve Hughes being Stephen (Rahman)Hughes. Any ideas anyone?

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

Sorry Maggie, it was a busy day yesterday (Tuesday) and didn't have my brain in gear again.

Re: Christmas with Lee Mead

Good that you've got your tickets booked Maggiemay, even if they're not exactly what you hoped for. The Garrick isn't a huge theatre (it's about 700 capacity) so the front of the Upper Circle should be fine.

I'm glad to see the tickets selling well for the Christmas concert - there doesn't seem to be much left in the stalls although a few VIP tickets have come back on sale today. Hopefully it'll be a sell-out so Lee can finish the tour on a high
