If you have an iTunes account, you can find the album in the iTunes Store and there are preview clips for each track. Very exciting to get this glimpse of what it will sound like.
There was a play of 'See You In My Dreams' on Beverley Humphries' radio show (BBC Radio Wales) tonight, and she said she'd be playing other songs from the new album over the coming weeks. There will also be an interview with the man himself (he's already recorded it) on 21st Feb.
Incidentally, Michael Crawford's version of 'I Belong With The Stars' (from the musical 'Billy') was pla*** on tonight's show. I love Lee's version of that!
Thanks for the link Linda. I went to the concert that Lee sang
"Some of us Belong to the Stars" absolutely loved Lee singing that
also remember he looked rather gorgeous in the trousers and waistcoat
he wore when he was on stage singing that song.
Apparently, Lee will be filming a music video tomorrow (weather permitting!) in Wales. According to his last tweet, he'll be getting up stupidly early to catch the sunrise (presumably to add an 'arty' touch to the video).
It looks like the shoot has been going well, and it looks like there's going to be a castle involved!

First part of the shoot for the new video going well. Stunning views up here up in Brecon. Breakfast stop then Craig-Y-Nos castle
Not long to wait now! I think these songs will play very nicely in my lounge with soft lighting and a glass of wine when I want to chill out and feel mellow
Just listening to the interview with Wynn Evans on Radio Wales. Lee sounding relaxed.
They're playing 'See You In My Dreams' - every time I hear the introduction of that song, I think Lee's going to start singing 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head'!
Yay! My e-mail is telling me that my signed CD has been dispatched
Can't wait to play it - hopefully tomorrow. In the meantime, I am enjoying the video clips on FB. I think the rather angry 'By Myself' is going to be a favourite track. And what a contrast with the gentle, whimsical 'I'll See You In My Dreams' which makes me think of Lofty for some reason! Lovely
Downloaded from iTunes (it is the 26th somewhere, right? ) - and listening over and over. Wow. Loving the big band sound, which does not overpower Lee's exquisite vocal (as I was secretly afraid it might).
Wonderful blend of upbeat and powerful and lovely ballads. Love it!
The album seems to selling quite well considering its limited distribution (not available in supermarkets etc). On the midweek chart published on Monday, it was no. 79 in the Top 100 Albums:
That's based on pre-orders + the first three days of release. It'll probably drop somewhat before the official chart on Friday as the initial boost from pre-orders is evened out but hopefully not too much. The album was showing up as out of stock on Amazon for a while which won't have helped sales but that seems to have been sorted out for now - though I hope someone eventually updates the track listing and adds some samples from the tracks - the US Amazon site is more up to date!
I see that the album is also available on HMV on-line:
Great to see that Lee is thrilled with the album's no. 20 position on the Indie Album Chart
The album doesn't appear in the Official Albums Chart Top 100 which covers sales of all CDs, downloads, vinyl and weighted audio streams. But the good news is that, when those figures are broken down, Lee appears at no.89 on the Official Albums Sales Chart Top 100:
I have put the Cd on my birthday list my birthday is on the 21st of June so got a bit of a wait but it will be so so so worth the wait , my Grandma having the cd today for Mother's Day her first ever Lee Mead CD
