I remember in a very early interview Lee was asked if he would cut his hair for a role, and his answer was, "without a doubt". 
Obviously as a fan of his hair when it was at its longest 
I dread that day. He has often said he would love to play Valjean in Les Mis - and since the film, almost every actor playing him in the show (I do go quite a lot!) has had their head shaved for the opening scene. No surprises then that my favourite actor was one who kept his hair long!
