Yes, Maggiemay, Twitter are having a 'clear out' of accounts that may be fake, or spam, or odd in other ways. Not that the number of followers bother me in the slightest - I may have lost one, possibly two - and I wouldn't think Lee is too concerned either!

Thanks for replying Liz, it just seems a bit strange that Lee has lost over 8OO followers, not just a few.

In addition to the above, apparently Twitter are removing accounts where there is no activity - no great loss, then!
