While purchasing movie tickets, I discovered that the two Lamorisse films began playing on a double bill in theaters on November 23rd. Here is the homepage:

More good news, you will soon be able to buy these restored versions. Criterion has indicated that a DVD containing both films will be released sometime in spring 2008.

Update: "The Red Balloon" and "White Mane" have both been released on DVD by Janus Films, in connection with the Criterion Collection. Also new on DVD from Janus is "Paddle to the Sea".
