We have a bad habit of being honest with customers. Sometimes any company’s dispatch does not know if a driver is going to take longer to clear from the previous customer, but it sounds like our dispatcher knew they wouldn't be able to send a cab within 15 minutes and was honest with you.
Also some advice for faster service is to be known by the drivers as a customer who never no-loads, spends $20 or better and/or tips more than the normal 20%. Like it or not taxicab drivers are independent contractors and will always take the better customers first.
i know . i use to drive a cab up here.my basic complaint is that yellow star lied sevral times. honesty goes a long way.
Where are you from? palmdale
Well hold on to our number, when possible we'll try to be honest with you :-)
Who did you drive for? When and for how long?
A young man and his date were parked on a back road some distance from town. They were about to have sex when the girl stopped.
"I really should have mentioned this earlier, but Im actually a hooker and I charge $20 for sex." The man reluctantly paid her, and they did their thing.
After a cigarette, the man just sat in the drivers seat looking out the window. "Why arent we going anywhere?" asked the girl.
"Well, I should have mentioned this before, but Im actually a taxi driver, and the fare back to town is $25..."
