Just wanted to leave a tribute to my very favourite actress (who I was always very proud to share a birthday with). I grew up watching this beautiful, graceful and quintessentially British lady in films like "The King and I" and the older I got, the more I watched and the more I read I realised that along with all the wonderful qualities that are self-evident from her screen presence alone, there was also a gutsy, strong lady who could hold her own with the best of them and hence command a great deal of respect from those who worked with her. Robert Mitchum had some wonderful anecdotes about his times working with his favourite co-star. Deborah is too often over-looked these days I only hope that in the future more people will appreciate her diverse legacy of movies - I'll watch the Sundowners this weekend and raise a glass to this beautiful lady.
