Great, great info. My great grandmother was Elizabeth Belle Huff born 1880, Newberry Town, IL. I'm sure she fits in here. Must go do more research.

Just happened by as I am cross-referencing genealogy information ... actually trying to sort out a line of "Duttons"/"Dertings" that I have by looking up some of their female lines, related by marriage. (It's probably not your relative, but a woman listed as "Phebe Ann Heff" was married to a David Darting in 1850 in Indiana.) I also realize that my surname was occasionally spelled your way but both pronounced the same. So...didn't find anything here except the photo of your autographed pillow case--a beautiful heirloom to have.

The website that your form asked for is not a genealogy site, but rather a place to put my writings and photography for sale. I do hope to get my genealogy research in good enough shape to post eventually and/or to publish in book format.

Fantastic work! My grandfather is Louis Musolino and I'll always remember his pizza house too. I've always wanted to know more about the Elick side, and now I've found it. Really fun to review. My mother is Nancy and she would have really ejoyed this as well. Nice work and thanks so much.

I often purchase lots of paper (old paper) like
deeds, wills, postcards and etc. In the last lot
I found a Picture Of a Jay Huff (about 2 yrs old
standing on a chair with some feathers or fur on
the chair, On the back is a name Jay Huff, the
other papers came from the Minn. and Wisc. area
of the USA.

Can you give me any help in finding it's owner?

Oscar Truman Elick was my Granddad. Arleva Joyce Elick was my Mom. I spotted one mistake which is, Mom {Joyce} was married to Tate and had Rex and Rose. She divorced and later married my Dad {Bobby Joe Hansel} and had 4 kids. Robert {myself} Hansel, Thomas Hansel, James Hansel, and {Ronald Hansel which was not listed.} Rex and Rose Tate are my half brother and sister. Was surprised to find this sight. Hi, My Great Grandfather was Jonathan G.(Gates) Huff from East Bend, N.C. He was a buggy builder and had a mill. His son Brewster B. Huff was my Grandfather. J.G. Huff was a buggy builder and had a mill in the area.
