These transceivers are lots of fun but the modification is a bit tricky unless you have the correct equipment. This one is fully modified and ready to go..

The modification replaces the existing broadcast FM chip but all the 2M and 70CM functionality remain in addition to being able to use 2m and 70cm SSB

Being cheap they are the ideal radio to take on holiday or simply for monitoring the HF bands when out and about?
