Analyzing the Impact of New Map Objectives

How are you guys adjusting your Dota 2 rotations with the new map layout and the addition of the Twin Gates? I find that the game is much more active now, with supports moving between lanes constantly. I’m having a hard time predicting when an enemy hero will suddenly appear behind me.

Re: Analyzing the Impact of New Map Objectives

The map changes have definitely made Dota 2 more complex. I used to feel safe once the enemy mid-laner showed on vision, but now they can just take a gate and be in my lane in five seconds. It requires much more warding near the map edges than we were used to in previous patches.

Re: Analyzing the Impact of New Map Objectives

The new objectives have changed the tempo, making map control more valuable than ever. Staying updated on Dota 2 strategy https://www.itechgyan.com/dota-2/ is essential to learn the optimal timings for taking the Tormentors or securing the Wisdom Runes. If you are a support, you should be looking to use the Twin Gates to surprise the enemy carry when their own supports are busy pulling creeps. For cores, it’s all about efficiency; you can now farm a dangerous area and gate out to safety instantly if you see a rotation coming. Controlling the area around the Lotus Pools is also a game-changer for lane sustain. If your team ignores these new mechanics, you’ll likely find yourselves falling behind in experience and resources very quickly.
