THE DRIFTER * A song about a biker

I've have written this song about a drifting biker. Please listen and tell me what you think. I love bikes and the open road. I'd love to find a band that would work this up to play at a bike event. Thanks for listening Sherri

THE DRIFTER
cc:2002
I ride the endless highway
A warrior of the road
My horse in made of Iron
Leather shields me from the cold
I'm never in one place to long
Always heading for somewhere
Don't know where I am going
I'll find out when I get there

Some look at me as lazy
A drifter is my trade
Don't have no ties to bind me
Got a few dollars that I made
While passing thru a one horse town
Where I barley broke free
From the arms of a sweet young thing
I left crying over me

(chorus)
You'll find me on a back road
Running wild and living free
I take the road less traveled
Don't want no company
I wanna be where the eagles fly
and when I die please bury me
Along a winding backroad
Were I can drift eternally

I've got the story of my life
Painted on my skin
My hands and face have weathered
From living in the wind
My saddlebag holds all I own
Never had a family
This lonesome road owns my soul
She's always calling me

Don't judge me by your standards
Mine and yours are not the same
Everybody's a little different
Every life a different game
What you consider right for you
Was never ment for me
Your a prisoner of your life
I like being free

(chorus)
Where the sky is the roof above me
The sun and rain are always free
My bed is where I make it
That's good enough for me
Got no one else to please
I'm a drifter and I'm Free
A drifter and I'm free
