Wow! I used to work for Alex Hill at LEAX and was heavily involved in designing and commisiononing the electronics that controls the lighting, heating and curtains. It was a blast from the past to see pictures of stuff on which I\'ve worked nearly 20 years ago. The Garden house roof has weathered well. The design here may be described as \'in your face\' and eclectic but I really loved it.

I\'m a huge fan of Art Deco and have been following an English welder\'s art. She has a similar style and she makes gates as well. The dragon gate caught my eye, mainly because it was so shiny, not made of iron. Then I googled for the house to mark it on my map of sights to see in Dublin and found your homepage. The interior i amazing! I\'m a fan of Antonio Gaudi and the details remind me of him. I hope someday I can visit the place in person!
A suggestion for the gallery: you really need to update your system how to browse photos. Instead of opening every photo in a new page you should just go to the next photo when clicking on the enlarged pic. It would be much easier to browse through the albums that way.

I was born in Brixton, South London and my mother was Welsh, so my curiosity was piqued when I read that Harlech House was built by a Welshman, hence the dragon gates. I enjoyed browsing through the gallery. I particularly like the stainless steel fountain, balustrade, fireplace, mosaic rear wall of the house and of course, the magnificent dragon gate. Some elements are not to my taste, but I still appreciate the detail in the artwork & craftsmanship that has gone into recreating this very unusual home. Thank you for sharing!
