I wasn't sure what to make of this ep. I found the flashback parts boring, I'm afraid, but could see why they were there - they just went on a bit!

Gas-kill is seriously unhinged, but I was totally shocked at what he did to Roxanna … that ending was the stuff of nightmares!!!:scream:

To be brutally honest my thoughts after that programme were "Well that's an hour I'll never get back." Yes it was a good strong storyline but it happened to focus on two characters who bore me. I'd expect non-Dfty fans to feel the same if it was an all Dofty episode, much as I'd love it. It's always better to mix the characters, and it doesn't detract from the main storyline. It just breaks it up a little.

I agree with you in principle, Tanith but - HOLY CRAP!!!! That Gaskell is sooooooo creepy!!!!

But how amazing it would be to have a backstory for Lofty!

It was just unfortunate that he and Roxanna are my least-liked characters and almost an hour of them was really hard going. But Gaskell is very well-acted.
