Afternoon Ladies
Grrr, I just did this long post about our weekend activities, went to post and lost the lot, so irritating. I'll add my bit tonight, as I must do some R/L stuff now whilst the 
shining!! 
Going by the LOTM's recent tweet, he has problems with his own possessions going off at inappropriate moments!

So glad you all had a wonderful day celebrating with Sue
and her new posh in-laws *bows and scrapes whilst reversing out of the room* and please let it be noted that the dancing on the table episode is forgiven under the circumstances.

thinking of you and your family this week. 
Not much I can add to what has been said already about the PoshDo. Agree, it was a fabulous weekend, the venue, the simple wedding ceremony(no big choirs, just the organist, a trumpeter at some point and one of the little bridesmaids (aged 10) stood up in the pulpit and song a solo so sweetly and confidently) and the tears and, later, the champagne flowed freely!! I know we all said a huge ‘thank you’ to Sue, her lovely OH (not forgetting the bride and the groom!) for inviting us to be part of their family. Hopefully, the laughs we had on Friday evening helped them briefly forget about the traumatic day they had had with the news over MIL.
One thing I can add, amongst the wedding party staying at our hotel was one young guy who several members of the MM staff took a ‘liking’ to (he had dark hair, was tanned, fit, etc, - you get the picture!! ),in fact A/Liz and I saw him coming in from his early morning run [phew]. Another member of the MM staff made sure she engaged him in conversation at the Reception!! (she had had several glasses of champagne by this time I might add!!) and there was much nudging and wink, wink going on, you can’t take us anywhere!!.
No one can ever replace the LOTM in our affections, but you must remember we were away from our laptops for 3 whole days, so we were missing our Boss.
Of course, as has been said, none of this would have happened without the LOTM, so it's a big ‘thank you’ to him as well 
One day I’m going to write a book entitled ‘Travels with the WJ Ladies’ (sub-titled ‘How to Grow Old Disgracefully’!! ) Some of the encounters we have had over the last 4 years would make your hair stand on end!!. I’m sure it would be a best seller, might even get serialised on TV.
A/Liz - Just a thought, now that, unfortunately, you've started your three day week, perhaps you could 'get round' to visiting the House of Lords in your spare time!!

Annie, how could I not have mentioned our bit of 'eye candy' - Phew! Do you remember when we tried out the 'Bend and Snap' ? .....
Oh, yes, I probably could fit in a visit to the House of Lords now! 
Oh yes, the 'Bend and Snap' , a bit difficult when the skirt of your dress is straight, not much room to manouvre, but I managed, Paulette would have been proud of me
Hello ladies
I just thought I'd call by to carry out the toilet inspections in the manor. We must ensure they're checked every 15 minutes so they're spick and span for any visitors who might drop in. I rather like the idea of putting the 'rose petals' in the urinals to keep them smelling fresh, even though they look **** polystyrene to me! But, the 'signs on the doors' could do with a little more polish! We wouldn't want any ladies(!) wandering into the gents by mistake, now would we - that would be most inconvenient
I heard a whisper that the two staff members who sampled the 'gents' in Shropshire were actually 'secret shoppers' checking all loos for cleanliness!!
Joking aside, the wedding was absolutely magical and the 'mother of the groom' looked stunning, with her very handsome husband by her side. The bride looked beautiful, as has already been said, and she gazed adoringly into the groom's eyes throughout the whole service. And I don't think the groom would have looked any happier if he'd won a million pounds!
The speeches were brilliant and it was very funny to hear stories from their childhood/adulthood.
Thank you everyone for making it such a fun filled weekend and particularly the 'mother and father of the groom' for inviting us to share such a memorable event with you. xxx

Morning ladies, sorry I've not been around much lately...I have my elderly Mum in hospital at the moment.
Just want to add to the marvellous write up's on the Wedding - we spent the whole weekend pinching ourselves - not believing what we were seeing or lucky enough to be a part of.
Of course I know absolutely nothing about the 'toilet fiascos'!!! the many glasses of 'champers' 
consumed!!! (well I don't drink...as a rule!)
actually we didn't manage to drink the second half of any glass of champers as far as I remember! - only the top half!...
I was tongue tied most of the time! so again know nothing about 'chatting up the gentry'!!!
Did hear a funny story about the 'moving loos' though.LOL!
All in all it was a really wonderful day, a beautiful wedding in a magical setting, shared with some of the dearest people I have ever been lucky enough to meet. The delightful and pretty Church filled with wonderful perfumed white and green flowers/foliage...appeared to have been lifted straight out of a story book. Even the sun came out for us...
Sue - thank you and your family so much, for letting us share such a precious day in your family's life...It was a privilege to have been there...and I don't think any of us will ever forget it as long as we live...
Oh! and Annie...did I really do that???

Now that things are slowly returning to normal, I have thoroughly de-crumpled LOTM (and removed a few wayward blobs of porridge from about his person 
).
In R/L, come down with a bang today after our fab weekend. Very fed up. 
Of course we're going A/Liz, the LOTM couldn't manage without his loyal staff . Anyway, it'll cheer you up . It's normally a long flight, but with Mr Magic Airlines, we'll be there in the blink of an eye .
I'm already packed for LA, no problems with the posh frocks, but might leave the Jimmy Choos at home after my sore feet at weekend. I've got Mr Magic's 
in my handbag, so no problems when we hit the shops of LA or the casinos and shows in Vegas

Good morning ladies - after a slight delay yesterday, we've now arrived with the LOTM in LA Woo! Hoo! (We wish) LOL!
Annie and A/Liz...going through the customs check was like 'a walk in the park' this time LOL! even my umbrella was left unchecked and we won't even talk about the 'toilet bag' (shape or size)!!!...LOL!
Wish I had been standing behind the LOTM when his 'body scan' took place though!!! 
Well here we are, all ready for a day out with the magic
I'm away to sort through some of the LOTM's new clothes first though. We must have him looking amazing for his first day out...but then he always looks fantastic, so it wont be a problem...
Off into R/L now, wish it was in LA or Vegas though!!!

Just a flying visit I'm afraid, as got back from sunny Devon late last night and now just off back down there again, to continue sorting everything out. I so wish I was with you all in LA but I am there in spirit. Please could someone apply the sunscreen at regular intervals (about every three minutes) to the BFL?

Aussie son is in bits and can't get his head round why I keep locking myself in her downstairs loo everytime I use my mob. I just feel I should carry on as usual by phoning from the loo !! She so hated me using my mob in her house didn't she

Hi Sue, lovely of you to pop in - the wonders of modern technology!!! I do hope all goes as well as can be expected tomorrow . Love to your OH and Aussie son on what will be a difficult day.
In the meantime, we will try to keep our spirits up by covering LOTM in copious amounts of Factor 30 (and then wiping it off where there was a bit too much). If you are back for health checks next week, you might be able to catch up with us in Vegas .....

I'm still trying to get the hang of my new R/L routine. It's a mess at the moment, but I guess I'll get used to it.

Right, from what I can make out, we have a choice of Elton John, Celine Dion or the acrobatics of the Cirque du Soleil (plus various tribute acts, but I think we should go for the real thing). Any preferences?

Good morning ladies. What a night it was last night (Annie, you must have had an extra special good night if you can't remember where you were! ) LOTM looked magnificent, didn't he! I particularly liked the bit where he leapt onto the stage and tried to sing Crocodile Rock with Elton (shame about the bouncers though ..... )
I last saw him wandering round, still suited and booted, no tie, and with several buttons of his shirt undone ... , with a half empty champagne bottle dangling from his hand ...
I have to say, I think it's time he went home, though - there is one very confused little girl waiting for him!!!

WHOO HOO - he's coming home!
I'd better jump on Mr Magic Airlines to get back before LOTM - he's bound to need a de-crumple when he lands!
Well, we did start a tour of the LV hotels yesterday. Amazing! Most of them on 'The Strip', we found the Hard Rock (embrace the rock star lifestyle!), The Venetian, the Mandarin Oriental (sister hotel in Barry of course!), the MGM Grand (complete with live lions - LOTM wanted to bring one home to MM, but I managed to persuade him it wasn't a good idea ), New York, New York (complete with its own Statue of Liberty), where LOTM wanted to dance down the staircase and pretend he was in the final of ADWD again, Caesar's Palace, even a good old Travel Lodge - to name but a few of the hundreds of hotels - all with their own casinos and cabaret! (When we win the lottery, ladies, we'll go for real!!!)
Anyway, dream over, Mr Magic is calling me .....
Isn't it lovely to have LOTM back home.
I have made an extra special romantic meal for LOTM & LVO 
.
I hope that he is not to jet lagged to enjoy it.

Glad to see you in the Manor this morning Joem, are you still in a darkened room like me?
What a flipin nightmare we had yesterday. I swear next time we stay overnight on The Lurvvve Tour we are going to kip in Australian Swags. Much easier, we just plonk them down, climb in and zip ourselves up against the elements . You should have seen us Curly,both of us at opposite ends of the country, kicking our poots, screaming down the phone to one another and having fisticuffs with the hotel website. At one point I found myself having a slanging match with Mastercard as my card was blocked over and over again 
The air was blue, as Joem said and if my sainted mother was still with us she would have given us both a teaspoon of mustard for bad language
I don't even know where the bloomin hotel is that we ended up booking and I live in the same city
Anyway, The Man of the Match, who we are doing all this for, is certainly tucked up tight this morning. I have tried to prise a limb out from under the silk sheet but he's not playing ball today. "Geroff, goway" is all I can get out of him
Think I'll wait to do the H&BFL checks until later. All that was visible was the mop of curls but they sure looked FIT FIT FIT ladies.
What a lovely romantic meal you did for them last night Joan. Did they drink all the lychee martinis you made them? If not there is a certain flower arranger and a certain nurse who are both still in dire need of strong alcohol this morning after yesterdays experiences

Good morning ladies. I have been esconsed with LOTM in the bedchamber, trying to persuade him to come out and be de-crumpled. I said it's a beautiful autumn day, to which his reply was, 'so what? lemme sleep'! I was so tempted to let Brassington in to do his worst, but feared for poor Brassington's well being!
Sue & Joem, your toils yesterday were certainly over and above the call of duty! Wherever we are, it will turn into an adventure - it always does!!

Oh dear - LOTM hasn't had the best of days. Within hours of him surfacing, Betsy has broken his glasses (wonder if she was trying out the Bend and Snap!), then he was complaining about the cold! I think we'll have to turn up the MM thermostat to Tropical this evening until he has reacclimatised!
